LATARBELAKANG / INTRODUCTION

Callicarpa merupakan sejenis pokok  tergolong dalam keluarga Verbenaceae. Spesis dipercayai berasal dari Tanah Besar China kini telah ditanam di Malaysia.  Daun teh herba prolific ini telah di hantar menjalani ujian makmal di Kedah BioResources Corporation Sdn Bhd atau KBio CORP. Setelah menjalani beberapa siri ujian  keatas daun teh herba Prolific yang berasaskan daun pokok Callicarpa, terbukti ia tidak mengandungi bahan-bahan merbahaya dan selamat untuk digunakan oleh semua peringkat umur.

Polific Herbal Tea (Name of the Proprietory Product) is produced by processing the leaves of a plant known as Callicarpa (Scientific name). This Callicarpa plant, believed to originate from main land China, belongs to the family tree of Verbanaceae. The dried Callicarpa leaves were sent to the Kedah Bio Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd or KBio CORP for a scientific laboratory testing. After undergoing a series of tests, KBio Corp certified that the Callicarpa leaves wre free from any form of poisons and were safe for human consumption.

Prolific Herbal Tea is a product that is 100% based on Callicarpa leaves. The Callicarpa plants are grown organically in our own Farm in Johor. No chemical fertilizer or pesticide is applied in the growing process of the plant. Prolific Herbal Tea had been subjected to a series of compulsory Laboratory Test for its Toxicology to determine that the product is safe for human consumption.

PENGASAS / THE FOUNDER
Dr. Hj. Ibrahim bin Abdullah, pemegang Ijazah Doktor Falsafah dari University of Wales, Aberystwyth, United Kingdom, dalam biadang Pembaikbiak Baka dan Genetik (Genetics and Plant Breeding). Beliau juga merupakan pemegang Ijazah Sarjana Pembaikbiak baka (Plant Breeding) dan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains Hortikultor (B.Sc.Horticulture)
Beliau pernah berkhidmat di Institut Penyelidikan dan Pembangunan Pertanian (MARDI). Selama 25 tahun di beberapa Pusat Penyelidikan MARDI di seluruh Malaysia dan memegang beberapa jawatan penting antaranya sebagai Penolong Pengarah Bahagian Hortikultor, Pengarah Bahagian Koko dan Kelapa serta Pengarah Bahagian Promosi Teknologi.
Selain daripada MARDI, beliau juga pernah berkhidmat di Lembaga Kelapa Sawit Malaysia (MPOB) selama dua tahun sebagai Penasihat Perkhidmatan Teknikal (Technical Advisory Services).

Dr.Hj.Ibrahim Abdullah was amongst a few Malay Scholar to have obtained a B.Sc. Degree in Horticulture from the National Taiwan University Taipei, Taiwan in 1971. He then pursued educastion at the University Of Wales, Aberystwyth in The United Kingdom and in Palnt Breeding. During his career with MARDI he served in various divisions holding the posts of Assistant Director of Horticulture, Director of Coco and Coconut, Director of Technology Promotion Division and other senior posts that assigned to him.
